TRANSIENS x DAL SOTTOSUOLO- Holotone/ Fondazione Le Monacelle, Matera, Italy
 

Death is always looming, but not knowing when it will come seems to lessen the sense of life's finiteness.





In 2023 Holotone label has teamed up with the Matera (IT) “Le Monacelle Foundation” to curate a series of 4 events at their ancient venue.
Each episode has seen local talents develop a tailored live performance, whose output has been used to give form to a release.
The whole project has been masterfully supported by the Graphic Design Studio and Art Collective "Linkin Bios".






The second chapter of this adventure sees the duo "DAL SOTTOSUOLO" (consisting of Nicola Moretti & Luigi Scaramuzzo) providing a breathtaking EP: "Transiens".

Formed in 2022, DAL SOTTOSUOLO embarks on an investigation of the myriad dimensions that acousmatics and electronic media can evoke.
Drifting occasionally into the darkest territories of sound and other times towards the more ethereal, the project contemplates the perception of the "subterranean" and the "occult."
